Argosphere - Educational site for kids. Mixture of educational activities for children and advertisements for educational CDs & videos. More for teachers and parents, initially, than the kids.

Infant Explorer - Educational site for literacy. Designed to help literacy in very young children, with pages for teachers. Online stories involving Sebastian the Swan. Limited by size, but good stories.

kidsNET - Info on family days out. Text heavy site for information on admission prices etc. Very London oriented, regional areas not catered for particularly well. Lists museums, cinemas and local attractions.

Party Box - Buy everything for a party. Great idea, and so much to choose from. Plan a party by theme, or just buy some general goods. Covers all angles of party planning, from ballooons to tablecloths.

urchin - Children's items site. Catalogue site for children's goods. May take a little time to find what you want, but the browsing allows you to see al the items on offer. Some good products to be found at the right prices.

Kinder Art - Free art lessons. Packed full of ideas for art projects with full instructions on how to complete each task. Catalogue for parents and teachers to buy more materials.

Yahooligans - Kids version of Yahoo. Simplified kids-based search engine. Gives limited results so finding required site is easier. Great sites to choose from, good mix of education and play.

Crayola - Crayon based art. Bright, vibrant site for all. Kids can print outline pictures to colour, parents can view products to buy in shops, education information for teachers.

Kids' Corner - Rainforest awareness site. Tells kids in easy terms how to help save rainforests. Some good examples of action making a difference. Links to video makers on topic.

Surf monkey - Kids' search engine. Search engine slanted towards education. Encourages learning through play on many pages. Well worth a visit on a rainy day.

NASA - Education about space. Great mix of information, education and fun activities. Pages for teachers and kids of all ages with quizzes, pictures and stories.

nationalgeographic.com - "Fun, informative site." Informative, educational site without being too text heavy. Well-presented, loads of options, great fun for a mixture of ages.
